Doodles "The Electronic" Duck found success as a stand-in for many famous birds in the late 70's, such as Sam the Eagle and the NBC peacock, but fell on hard times in 1996, when soon-to-be merchandising juggernaut "Pokemon" rose to fame. Doodles was often chastised by angry children, who would yell things in Japanese and throw rocks, mocking "poke-balls" (a device used to capture pokemon in said video game). Many years of electronic-enhanced drug abuse led Doodles down a path he once described as "chaotic, and frightening". In the summer of 2009, Duck teamed up with San Antonio heavyweight Merykid, lending an electronic perspective to the still unreleased 2010 space-rock epic, The Raccoon. He attends every Merykid show, and even appeared "live" on KRTU San Antonio 91.7 FM's "Subterranean Hip-Hop Groove" with Merykid on April 27th, 2010. He gets his unusual middle name from his mother, and actually comes from a long line of "The Electronic"'s.
Doodles is poised to star in the 6-episode viral web-series: Doodles "The Electronic" Duck. The show will follow Doodles throughout six days of his life, documenting the struggles of an electronic duck living in a white man's world. Doodles "The Electronic" Duck is set to begin filming January 1, 2012 (coinciding with the release of Merykid's rap album, tentatively titled Pimpin' McNuggets).
