Around The Bend

Conflicted.
Bummed about good news.
Bummed
because
I had already planned
on a
completely random commitment
to the idea of
only posting
10 blogs
 a month this year.
Yet,
I was much obliged
to
post this most recent
review
of
because it was
unexpected
and very kind.
So,
I suppose
I must now commit
myself
to the number
11.
Seems fitting.

One Way Out (Down)

how I spent my summer vacation...in the Twilight Zone

Sleeping
during the days.
Drinking too much.
Fitter.
Happier.
Downward
spiraling,
but in a
"necessary" <----read: creative
way,
a way
that ensures
tons o'TRL
spins.
Realizing its 4 AM,
and
that I just went to sleep
at 7 AM
for what was
now
seemingly
two night's ago's
worth's
of's
sleep.
An
unprovoked tear
just
came out of my eye.  <----nice use of real time
Callin' it.

Us!

some people really fear third person pronouns

Admittedly
roughing it
these days...  <---couldn't afford the premium digital cable package, had to settle for only 1,000 channels
Resorting to
extreme
means of entertainment,
preparing
myself for anything
in
'11.
Anywhatsit,
let's try
tying
this together...
The rain outside
is
a lot like
the movie poster about giant ants
attacking a city    < -----premise for most of the first Power Rangers season
because

a) dangerous
b) somewhat interesting methods of natural selection
c) Sean Elliott
d) I'm watching Clash of the Titans in 2D, its surprisingly even worse

Commutative Fading

the "lego nazi camp" numbers were less than stellar <------too soon

We
are all floating
in
a sea
of colors/buttons/knobs.
Hazy
twists and turns,
spinning
in accordance
with the
Earth/Moon/PFKAP.      < ---- planet formerly known as pluto
Take
your time,
and don't twist
the wrong
dial.
You could end up
flanging
when you
should have wah'd.
Real talk.

The Great '85's    <----so many apostrophes
debut,

"Good to be Alive"
EP.
